A small and friendly group, our meetings aim to provide a relaxed, informal get-together for people interested in writing. This isn’t a writing ‘class’, but a chance for you to chat and share with other people who have an interest in writing – in all of its many forms; short stories, poetry, memoirs, articles, novels – all are welcome!

Meeting on the second and fourth Thursday afternoons of the month at 2.00 – 4.00 pm at the Beech Hill Book Cycle; we have a coffee, a chat, a laugh and share samples of our writing. We don’t aim to criticise, but to encourage and spur on anyone who has the creative writing bug.

Car parking is available in surrounding streets, and £2 per head contribution is collected for room hire from group members at each meeting.
