We aim to appreciate wines from around the world by learning about grape varieties, wine production, food matching , and the effects of 'terroir', but most of all by sampling. To that end we aim to look at six wines per session - usually three white, three red - linked by a theme which may be country, grape variety, etc.

We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at Highfield Community Hall at 7:30pm.

Meetings cost £8, payable in advance by the preceding Members' Meeting.

We also plan to include other activities such as winery visits at home and abroad, visits to local restaurants, presentations by local suppliers etc. on an occasional basis.
