Our organisers will be at the Members Meeting next week, finalising details for a wide variety of upcoming events.
For Trips, at the moment there are still a few places remaining on the coach trip to Llandudno on Wednesday 10th September. If you would like adding to the list, this could be your chance for a last minute sign up. Also anyone olready booked on the trip, a reminder this is the final meeting to make cash payments to confirm your place.
There will also be a Curry Night, for dining out group, provisionally on Thursday 25th September, so if interested in this do ask to see if it's been finalised and names started to be taken.
Tickets will also be on sale for the Wigan u3a Quiz night at Subscription Bowling Club on Saturday, 18th October. (Cost £10 per head to cover a general knowledge quiz, separate picture quiz, play your cards right and hot pot supper - great prizes to be won). Only 60 places available, so do get organised if you want to be there.
Please remember this is the last day for cash payments for anyone signed up on the Gardens Visit outing to Ness Botanic Gardens, Cost is £27.00, Deadline for BACS payments is a little later, on Friday 22nd August, Trip date is Wed 27th August, and a few places remain if you're not yet on the list.
Jenny will have details of upcoming Theatre dates. Too late for the Moulin Rouge show on 18th September as the Manchester Palace Theatre itself is fully sold out, however there is also a showing of the NT's Inter Alia at local Omniplex Cinema on Thurs 4th September for which some of the theatre group have already bought tickets. There is also a trip to Priscilla Queen of the Desert in Liverpool next year where members can still book their own tickets. Come and have a chat about any of these,
