So what will this group do? Well we don't actually know! The aim is to have a variety of different one-off 'give it a try' event dates. Some active, some relaxed, some social.

The idea is for individual members to put forward ideas for something they have always wanted to do, or that they have enjoyed in the past but have not done for a while - to to find out if there are others in Wigan u3a who would like to join them in this. Some ideas could become longer term, but for now this is for simple one-off events.

Perhaps you have an idea that needs a minimum number of people in order for it to happen. Or is for something that would just be more fun to do as a group. Maybe something dare-devil, or luxurious, or food or drink related, or some new style of transport, or a brain-teaser option, or learning a new craft, or whatever... It could be something low cost, local and self-managed, or could be signing up with specialist instructors or visiting unusual places, or just introducing others to something you already do regularly.
