Many thanks to the many members who have already paid the fee for a further year's membership for Wigan u3a. Over 80% of last year's members are now up to date in this respect. As well as 30+ brand new members signing up.
The majority of these used the easy option to come along to either a Speakers or Members Wednesday meeting to be able to speak directly to the membership team and make payments in person in cash or by card. Others have managed the process on-line with BACS transfers. We appreciate however that not everyone is able to turn up in person, nor happy to use on-line banking apps, so if you need other ways to renew do ask.
Speak to group leaders or contact the Membership Secretary by email if you do want to continue but haven't been able to organise making your renewal yet for some reason.
Just a reminder however that we have just one more Wednesday meeting (Wed 20 May) left until our end of May cut off point, when your last year's membership will lapse and you will then no longer be on the list to receive reminder and update emails, or eligible for u3a benefits, or any say in branch decisions.
Please don't just drift away and lose touch ....
