Friday night saw the dance floor heaving at Wigan u3a’s annual Christmas Party at Wigan Sports Club.  Another fantastic evening of entertainment was provided by James Norton and the partygoers twisted, jived and bopped to everything from Neil Diamond classics, to The Killers.  A hot buffet, mince pies, crackers and holly completed the festive feel, whilst the magnificent Christmas hamper raffle saw one lucky winner take home a selection of tasty treats.

One thing can be guaranteed at any u3a party – there are no wallflowers and no-one waits shyly for someone else to start the dancing!  Oh, and if the odd conga is thrown in, so much the better.

Thanks to all for attending, to James Norton for his great performance, and to the social committee for once again organising a memorable evening.
