Wigan u3a like Christmas so much, that there will be two Christmas Lunches again this year! ( Please see post re. lunch at The Wheel.) If you would like to join us for a delicious meal in this popular restaurant please speak to Jenny Swift or Christina Smith. Members may be able to attend both lunches, however, we will try to ensure that everyone is booked on their first choice of venue prior to booking members onto their second choice.

Jenny and Christina will be taking a deposit of £10 per person at the member's meeting on the 16th September. The balance due will be payable at the member's meeting on the 21st October. On this date we will also need menu choices. The menu can be found on the restaurant's website or click HERE to view it directly.

PLEASE NOTE: To reduce queuing at meetings, while we expect the Christmas Lunches to be high-demand events, we request that everyone puts the cash into an envelope, with required information written on the outside of this. For collection of £10 deposits at the September meeting, the required information will be the total amount paid, who this is for (name(s) and member numbers). For collection of the balances at the October meeting, again the total amount paid, and who this is for (name(s) and member numbers) is required, plus also what the required menu selection are.

This will allow Jenny and Christina more time to check everything matches up, and then to prepare receipts for you to collect at the end of the meeting. With thanks in advance for this, which should make it quicker and easier to collect both payments and order information.

It would be helpful if anyone who has online banking could make a BACS transfer. Please ensure you have a place booked prior to making a BACS payment, and then please let Jenny know when you have made a BACS payment, so she can update her records.
