Our guided tour of the Regional Guide dog centre at Atherton (full address below) needed to be re-arranged from the original September date. However it is now back on the schedule for Thurs 22nd October.

This remains a get-yourself-there trip, to be at the venue from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, at a cost of £10.
The guided tour will give you the opportunity to explore the fascinating journey of a guide dog from the beginning and will include:
A tour by expert guides
A possible viewing of guide dog training(subject to availability)
A sensory experience and a chance to walk with mobility aids
A demonstration of guide dog equipment such as harnesses
The tour will last 2 hours with tea and coffee at the end.
