Our next proposed day out is a guided tour of the Regional Guide dog centre at Atherton (full address below) on 15 September.  This is a get-yourself-there trip, to be at the venue from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, at a cost of £10.

The guided tour will give you the opportunity to explore the fascinating journey of a guide dog from the beginning and will include:

A tour by expert guides
A possible viewing of guide dog training(subject to availability)
A sensory experience and a chance to walk with mobility aids
A demonstration of guide dog equipment such as harnesses 

The tour will last 2 hours with tea and coffee at the end.

This trip is already fully booked, but names still being taken for a reserve list. Also if you are interested but unavailable on that date, then do still get in touch as we may be able to arrange a second tour at a later date.
