| Address: | Buckley Street West Beech Hill Wigan WN6 7PQ |
The Book Cycle was, in the past, one of Wigan Council's local libraries, however the building has now passed to a charity that collects and then makes second hand books available for minimal cost, or else circulates these onward to other charities or for recycling.

For meetings, we mainly use the 'Craft Cabin', located in the rear garden of the building - accessible either by walking through the library itself or by going around the outside of this. This needs to be reserved in advance, with a charge of £2 per head payable collected and then handed over to the desk in the main building. Here you have quite a bright space, windows all along one wall, and several tables - normally pushed together to give a larger block with seats all around. This has heating for those colder winter days, plus a kitchen area to allow brewing up of coffees and teas. The lawn in front of the cabin can be an overflow area for photography activities or similar.
There is also a further large table in the main building amongst the books, which can be an alternative place to gather and chat; plus a few computer terminals if you want some online activities. (Internet Browser and Microsoft Office installed). Plus do contribute to the Book Cycle's own activities too - bring along books you've already read and pick up to three new selections from the shelves, making a small donations for what you take.
